Visual Note-Taking Exercise

Doodles are different from visual note-taking and that’s the tea.

As I began this exercise, I realized immediately that my creativity had to be unleashed. I thought this was gonna be a piece of cake — boy was I wrong! My process was done in one take, however there were numerous pauses in between. My OCD got in the way and I wanted to interpret this TED talk into a masterpiece — or somewhat close to ideal for me.

I wanted to create sketch notes that I would be able to look back on and know what I was reading. For the most part, I took main points from the video that I felt were important. Compared to other forms of note-taking this was by far my favorite. Visually seeing what I was placing down helped me memorize important key points that I might use in the future during the course.
